1. What Cookies Are

• stayinkz_session — the authorization session cookie. Set after logging into an account or confirming a one-time code. Required for access to the profile, favorites, booking requests, facility management, and other functions that require login. The cookie is protected by the HttpOnly flag (inaccessible from JavaScript), is transmitted only to our API, and has a lifetime of up to 1 day or until logout.
• This cookie is technically necessary for the operation of the personal account and cannot be disabled without the loss of the corresponding functionality of the site.

3. Analytical Cookies

On the live stayin.kz website, we enable web analytics services in order to understand which pages users visit and how to improve the service. In local development, analytics is disabled.

We strive to use analytics services in a manner that does not transmit users’ personal data, other than information automatically collected by web analytics tools.

When Yandex.Metrica’s Webvisor is used, a user’s actions on the pages of the site are recorded (for example, mouse movements, page scrolling, clicks, and form completion, without saving entered passwords or other sensitive data). These recordings are used solely to analyze the usability of the site.

• Google Analytics — cookies such as _ga, _ga_*, and _gid. Counter G-J1KCYLMMHH. Collects anonymized statistics on page views and events on the site.
• Yandex.Metrica — cookies such as _ym_uid, _ym_d, yandexuid, and others. Counter 110347387. Collects visit statistics, a click map, data on referral links, and uses Webvisor to record anonymized sessions.

4. Similar Technologies in the Browser

• stayinkz_cookie_notice_dismissed (localStorage) — remembers that you have closed the cookie notice, so as not to show it again.
• stayinkz.authRole (sessionStorage) — temporarily stores the user’s role in the interface for faster page rendering after login. Deleted when the browser tab is closed; the stayinkz_session cookie continues to be used to verify access rights.

5. Third-Party Services

Analytical cookies are set by Google (Google Analytics) and Yandex (Metrica). Their processing is governed by the privacy policies of those companies. We do not transmit passwords, message content, or payment data through analytics.

6. Managing Cookies

• Most browsers allow you to refuse the use of cookies or notify you before they are stored.
• You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
• If stayinkz_session is disabled, logging into your account, favorites, booking requests, and other personal functions will not work.
• If analytical cookies are disabled, the site will continue to work, but we will receive less data to improve the service.
• Clearing localStorage and sessionStorage will reset the dismissal of the cookie banner and the role cache in the interface.

7. Retention Period

• stayinkz_session — up to 1 day from login or until logout.
• Analytical cookies — in accordance with the rules of Google Analytics and Yandex.Metrica, typically from a few minutes up to 24 months.
• stayinkz_cookie_notice_dismissed — until site data is manually cleared in the browser.
• stayinkz.authRole — until the browser tab is closed.
